Translated from Victor’s memorial card which is beautiful as it describes his final wishes.
When I have gone, free me, let me go i have things to see and do,
You should not attach yourself to me with tears, be happy that we had So many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.
I appreciate the love you’ve demonstrated but now is the moment to fly free. So cry a little bit for me, if you must. then allow me to comfort you with Faith. It’s only for a while that we will be separated, so bless the memories inside you my heart.
I won’t be far because Life continues. And if you need me; call me and I will come. Though you cannot see me or touch me I will be close.
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear all my love around you, faithful and docile.
Later, when you come alone on this road, I will greet you with a smile and “WELCOME HOME.”
Victor “tito” Bruno a.k.a Manhattan; rest in peace.
